Understand the difference between rough drafts, expedited transcripts, and standard delivery.
A rough draft is an uncertified working version that may be available quickly. An expedited transcript is a certified transcript produced faster than standard delivery. Availability and timing depend on proceeding length, complexity, reporter workload, and the requested deadline.
For most assignments, provide the date, time, jurisdiction, format, location, expected duration, case caption, witness information, delivery deadline, and any realtime, video, remote, or language-service requirements.
